Meeting at "Ristorante - Pizzeria Porta Messina".Each day, the chef accompanies his "students" of all ages to the fish markets and to the corner markets of Taormina, showing them how to shop, choose the best products from the land and sea, all in respect of the seasons and always opting for best quality. Students are then transferred indoors to the restaurant kitchen, where they can learn to cut, knead, cook, bake, dress, taste and above all create the best dishes of the Sicilian and other cooking traditions. After two delightful and very entertaining hours of work, you will be invited to sit at the table and taste all the meals you have prepared, as well as those prepared by our professionals. For the more curious, the restaurant offers the possibility to learn to make fresh, traditional handmade pasta, macaroni, stuffed ravioli, bread, pizza dough, cous cous and how to cook legumes.
